Robert William Brock II Mr. Robert William Brock II, 64 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully on April 27, 2016 at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. He was born on November 12, 1951 in Flint, Michigan the son of Gerald and Betty Hitchcock. He was a veteran and served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married his wife, Cheryl Brock on April 12, 1979 in Fenton and together the couple celebrated 37 years of marriage before his passing. Robert lived in Lewiston for the last 29 years, having vacationed in the area for years. He was formerly from the Upper Peninsula, where he worked as a corrections officer for the Department of Corrections. He held a big place in his heart for the Upper Peninsula and lived there for a short time. Robert enjoyed hunting deer, watching television, and listening to music; especially country and classic rock and roll. Above everything, he enjoyed the time he spent with his wife and children and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving bride, Cheryl Brock of Lewiston; son, Robert (Jane Youn) Brock of Midland; daughter, Monica (Michael) Fuson of Ellsworth; father, Gerald Hitchcock of Linden; mother-in-law, Kathleen Nagy of Lewiston; sisters, Sallie (Dale) Chapman of Cadillac; Debbie (Matt) Thompson of Swartz Creek; Tammy (Bill) Luke of Swartz Creek; brother, Jerry (Brenda) Hitchcock of Davison; nieces, Amy of Davison; Koreen of California; and dog, "Charlee." He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Hitchcock. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are currently no services scheduled for Mr. Brock.
