Rita Genevieve Ball Mrs. Rita Genevieve Ball, 80 of Lewiston, MI passed away at Tendercare in Gaylord, MI on October 4, 2011. She was born to Casmir and Genevieve (Sobocinski) Wachnicki on June 5, 1931 in Detroit, MI. She married Glenn Ball on August 27, 1959 in Centerline, MI and together they had six children. The two moved to Lewiston in 1971, formerly of Utica, MI. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. In her free time she enjoyed, crafting of all kinds such as; sewing and crochet. She was also an avid BINGO player and liked to be outdoors fishing. Above everything, she loved her time spent with family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Ball of Lewiston, MI; sons, Marc (Sue) Andrews of NV; Tony (Beth) Andrews of Roseville, MI; daughters, Marsha Andrews of East China, MI; Cathy (Dave) Abair of Lewiston, MI; Christine (Brad) Larson of West Bend, WI; Michele Berry of West Bend, MI; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard and sister, Loretta Schultz. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial mass for Mrs. Ball will be held on Friday October 21, 2011 at 11AM at St. Francis Catholic Church.
