Richard "Dick" Vaughn Richard "Dick" Vaughn, 71, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on December 13, 2010 at Otsego Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 29, 1939 to Edward and Helen (Slupka) Vaughn in Detroit, MI. He married the former Michelle Ondocsin on October 1, 1966 in Flint, MI. Dick worked for Firestone just out of high school, starting as a tire changer, and left the company as a store manager 14 yrs later. He went on to work in sales for Saginaw Distributors and Fisher-Flack selling appliances and electronics. Then finally retiring in July of 2010 from Kamp Oil where he was a territory manager. He always loved the conversation and relationships developed with his clients in his time in sales. Dick enjoyed golfing, hunting, and taking trips to the Casino, especially in Vegas. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes. He was a longtime member of the Lewiston Curling Club, having served as their president for 2 yrs. Above all else, he loved his family. Dick is survived by his wife, Michelle, of Lewiston, MI; daughters, Kerri (Loyse) Huffman of Stockbridge, MI, and Kristen (Bill) Galo of Avonmore, PA; grandson, Tyler; and sister, Louise (Don) Lueckeman, of Flint, MI. Funeral Services for Mr Vaughn will be held on Friday, December 17,2010 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI, Fr Raymond Cotter officiating. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. The family has suggested memorials to the American Heart Association.
