Richard Lymon Perkins Mr. Richard Lymon Perkins, 78 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully on April 12, 2015 at WellSpring Lutheran Services in Fairview. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 8, 1936. He was a proud veteran and served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors after 30 years where he worked maintenance. He moved to Atlanta 23 years ago, formerly of Hazel Park. Richard was a member of the United Auto Workers Association and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved to fish and made his own fishing lures and was also an avid deer hunting taking trips out west for many years. She is survived by his brother, Robert Perkins of Hazel Park. He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise; and brother, Bernie. As were his wishes cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time for Mr. Perkins. Inurnment will take place at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
