Richard Neal Olree Mr. Richard Neal Olree, 80 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on July 6, 2015. He was born to the late, Cornealous and Margaret (Gelock) Olree in Detroit, Michigan on September 29, 1934. He married wife, Marilyn (Wohlart) Olree in Southfield, Michigan on December 11, 1954 and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing. Richard worked for Western Electric-Lucent for 30 years as an installer, and owned the first cell phone, helping to install the very first cell phone towers. He resided in Hillman for the last 56 years. He enjoyed watching all sports on television and coached hockey for his sons. In his free time he enjoyed working on the lawn and gardening. Most of all, he valued his time with family and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Olree; sons, Dr. Rich Olree; Dr. David (Shelly) Olree; Dr. Douglas (Dr. Shelley) Olree all of Hillman; daughter, Vida (Thomas) Wilber of Sterling Heights; five grandchildren, Alysa, Richard III, Nicki, Abby, Drew; and sister, Shirley Sprague of Redford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornealous and Margaret Olree. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial held in celebration of his life at 1:00PM on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at New Beginnings Ministry; Hillman; Pastor Dave Hill officiating. The family will begin accepting visitors starting at noon until time of service at the church.
