Richard "Dick" William Nagy Mr. Richard "Dick" William Nagy, 75 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away on January 16, 2014 at Mercy Hospital Grayling surrounded by his loved ones. He was born to the late, Charles and Victoria (Sharkney) Nagy on January 20, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan. He married wife, Mary (Gross) Nagy in Brown City, Michigan on January 27, 1957 and together they celebrated 56 years of marriage before his passing. The couple have lived in Lewiston since 1970, formerly of Capac. He retired as a heavy equipment operator at the age of sixty-two after 30+ years of service and in that time helped to build the course Second Nine at Garland. Dick was a member of the Lewiston Moose #2495 and past member of the Shriners and Lions Club. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, and playing pool. Above all, he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Nagy of Lewiston; sons, Jeff Nagy of Lewiston; Rich (Heidi) Nagy of Gaylord; daughters, Darlene (Greg) Stover of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Brenda (Mike) Van Coillie of Lewiston; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Victoria Nagy; brother, Charles; and sister, Sandra Metzer. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial was held in celebration of his life on Sunday, January 20, 2014 at the Lewiston Moose.
