Richard Edward Kolcan Richard Edward Kolcan, 84, of Hillman, passed away at Alpena Regional Medical Center on Monday, March 09, 2009. He was born on August 29, 1924 to Joseph and Olga (Elias) Kolcan in Cleveland, OH. He married the former Eleanor on October 2, 1943 in Cleveland, OH. He has lived in Hillman since 1985 formerly of Columbia Station, OH. He was a member of St Augustine Catholic Church in Hillman. He retired as from All City Carraige after working as a truck driver for 35 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and tinkering in the garage. He loved to go out to eat. Richard is survived by his sons, Ken of Lachine, MI, Wayne (Deborah) of Brookpark, OH, and Karl (Karen) of Waterford, MI; daughters, Karen (Ed) McCormick of Brunswick, OH, and Denice (Mike) Calhoun of Elyria, OH; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. Graveside services for Mr Kolcan will be held on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brookpark, OH. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI.
