Richard Ray Huff Mr. Richard Ray Huff, 81 of Johannesburg, Michigan passed away on January 01, 2014 in the peace of his own home surrounded by loved ones. He was born to the late, Russell and Cora (Blake) Huff in Johannesburg, Michigan on March 25, 1932. He married wife, Theresa (Kochan) Huff, on June 9, 1956 in Detroit and together they celebrated 57 years of marriage before his passing. Richard lived in Johannesburg for the past 25 years, formerly of Clarkston. He worked as a tool and die maker for Pontiac Motors for 26 years before retiring. He was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, past member of KofC in Clarkston, and lifetime member of the Michigan Bear Hunters Association. Richard enjoyed to bowl and participated on numerous leagues in the past. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed mushroom picking, fishing, and hunting. He often played cribbage, pinochle, and euchre with Theresa. Above everything, he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Huff of Johannesburg; children, Maryann (Rodger) Pedigo of Fenton; Elaine (Timothy) Fonseca of Johannesburg; Richard (Reina) Huff of Davison; Allan Huff of Fenton; Margie (Don) Palmer of Johannesburg; Charlotte (Mark) Sosnoski of Port Austin; grandchildren, Heather Pedigo; Matthew Pedigo; Michael Pedigo; Greg Pedigo; Lauren Pedigo; Aaron Huff; TJ Fonseca; Kristin Fonseca; Phillip Huff; Tiffany Huff; Christopher Huff; Karen Quinn; Megan Hodgson; Theresa Palmer; Donnie Palmer; Ryan Stevenson; Cory Sosnoski; Chase Sosnoski; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Hazel Dupont of Johannesburg; Keith (Sherry) Huff of Johannesburg; Elaine (Larry) Thompson of St. Helen; and Fern (Stanley) Kwapis of Johannesburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Huff and Cora Huff-Redick; daughter, Bernadette Huff; sister, Jean Buc; brother, Donald Huff; brother, Jim Huff; sister, Carol Kocur; and sister, Karen Sewell. Funeral services for Mr. Huff will take place at 11:00AM, Monday, January 06, 2014 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; Lewiston, Michigan; Father Santiago Hoyumpa officiating. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 05, 2014 at the Green Funeral Home; Lewiston, Michigan from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials be made to Hospice Advantage or Lewiston Community Sharing.
