Richard Henry Dannis Richard Henry Dannis, 59, of Atlanta, MI passed away at his residence on April 12, 2011. He was born on August 31, 1951 to Joseph and Katherine (Patterson) Dannis in Detroit, MI. He moved to Atlanta in the early 90s, formally of Taylor, MI. He worked as an iron worker in various shops for thirty years before retiring. He was a member of the Ironworkers Union Local 25. Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed working on his property and houses. He loved helping people and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon (Nick) Perry of Dearborn, MI; and two dogs, Heidi and Mabel. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service for Mr. Dannis will be held on April 15, 2011 at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI, Pastor Roger Steele officiating.
