Raymond Charles Richardson Mr. Raymond Charles Richardson, 81 of Johannesburg, Michigan passed away suddenly on December 16, 2014 at his home. He was born to the late, Clyde and Mildred (Pitock) Richardson in Detroit, Michigan on April 4, 1933. He was a proud veteran and served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Raymond retired in 1995 from Ford Motor Company as a boiler operator after 25+ years of service. After his retirement he moved to Johannesburg, formerly of Trenton. He was a member of the Flat Rock Sportsman's Club, as well as an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors, whether he was working in his garden collecting vegetables for canning or taking walks up Rattlesnake Hill. Above everything, he enjoyed his time that was spent with family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by sons, Brian Richardson of Johannesburg; Greg (Lori) Marklein of Wyandotte; Raymond Richardson Jr of Colorado; daughters, Sue (Ernie) Fish of Atlanta; Marcia (Larry) Wall of South Lyon; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sister, Sylvia (Albert) Topolewski of Riverview; and dog, Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Mildred Richardson; wife, Kay; and brother, Clyde Richardson. Funeral services for Mr Richardson will take place at 3:00 PM on Monday, December 22, 2014 at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home in Flatrock, MI. Visitation hours will be held on Monday from noon 12:00 noon until time of service.
