Mr. Raymond Eugene Headley, 71 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alpena on February 19, 2019. He was born on June 22, 1947 in Moran, Michigan to the late, Alfred and Eunice (Johns) Headley. Raymond lived in the Atlanta and Hillman area most of his life and worked at Prell's Sawmill in Hawks. He also cut wood for Carl Lietzel for many years as well. He was a member of New Beginnings Ministry of Hillman. Raymond was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved cookies and his dog, Trixie. Aside from his hobbies he enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with his wife. He treated her like she was the most important person in the world to him. He never carried animosity for anyone and was a loving and caring person who adored his family, especially his wife, Patricia.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Headley of Atlanta; stepson, Daniel Bullard of Manistee; stepdaughters, Karen Korolenko of Manistee; Vicky (Douglas) Klein of Whitmore Lake; grandchildren, Zachary, Brendan, Taylor; brothers, Tom Headley; Harold (Roseann) Headley; Ronald (Shelby) Headley; Dave Headley all of Alpena; sisters, Carol (Joe) McKay; Charlotte Buckler both of Alpena; and Ruth (Guy) DeKett of Posen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Eunice Headley.
As were his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial celebration held in honor of Raymond's life at New Beginnings Ministries in Hillman on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11:00 AM with a luncheon following.
