Raymond Hartle Jr Raymond Hartle Jr, 63, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at the Alpena Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 24, 1948 to Raymond Sr. and Vera (Gibbino) Hartle in Monroe, MI. Ray married Cecilia on November 19, 1988 in Monroe, MI. He retired from Ford Motor Co in 2002 after 32 years of service. After his retirement, they moved from Monroe to Lewiston. He was a member of St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Lewiston. Ray was an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, golfing, and mushroom hunting. He was an avid bowler, achieving a 300 game. He was a member of the UAW Local 714 and the Lewiston Moose Lodge #2495. He used to enjoy to square dance and line dance with his wife, always adding an extra step here and there. Raymond is survived by his wife, Cecilia; children, Ray III (Holly) Hartle of Monroe, MI; Lara (Nick) Balovich of Virginia Beach, VA, and Randy Hartle and Susan (Johnny) Grodi both of Monroe, MI; grandchildren, Rhandie Marie (Alex), Hailey, Joshua, Aaron, Meranda, Zachary, Ray Evans, Brandon, Taylor, and Kaitlyn; great grandson, Parker James; brother, Sam (Dena) Hartle of Lewiston, MI; and sister, Louise (Charles) Legg of Monroe, MI. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister in law, John and Judy Hartle. Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Hartle will be held on March 2, 2012, at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Lewiston, MI, Father Lawrence Sergott officiating. Visitation will be from 4-9:00 PM on Thursday at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI and again on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. A memorial mass will also be held in Monroe on Monday, March 5, at 5:00 PM at the St Michaels Catholic Church with a dinner to follow. Interment will take place at St Francis Catholic Cemetery in Lewiston in the Spring.
