Ray T. Murray Ray T. Murray, 83, of Hillman, MI passed away on December 23, 2006 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 2, 1923 to Howard and Ethel (Thomas) Murray. He served his country in the Army during WWII. Ray married the former Marce Penzien on February 14, 1970 in New Haven, MI. Ray retired from D & N Bending in Frasier, where he worked in tool and die for many years. He then retired to the Rust area where he farmed with horses for many years. He enjoyed woodworking. He and his wife used to cut cedar for the DNR to feed the deer, and then haul it out from the woods on a horse drawn sleigh. He enjoyed working on his house, barn, and outbuildings around the farm. Mr. Murray is survived by his wife, Marce; son, Harry (Jenny) Both of China Twp, MI; daughters, Pat (Ben) Bohnett of Lapeer, MI, and Del (Rob) McDaniel of Yale, MI; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Max (Stella) Murray of Yale, MI, and Carl (Rhea) Murray, Roy (Dorothy) Murray, and Howard (Donna) Murray, all of Port Huron, MI; and a sister, Betty (Bill) Marks of St Johns, MI. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at St John's Lutheran Church at 1:00 PM, Pastor Jason Mandley officiating.
