Mr. Phillip John St. George, 84 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at his home on the evening of October 10, 2024. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 11, 1940 to the late Victor and Ann (Paschke) St. George. Phillip served his country proudly in the United States Navy. On August 24, 1996 he married, Christine (Robinson) St. George and together they celebrated 28 years of marriage before his passing. Phillip has owned property in Lewiston since the 1960’s but has resided there permanently with Christine for the last 15 years. He worked for Fife Electrical Company for 35 years and was the top sales engineer for multiple years. Phillip was a member of the United Congregational Church of Christ, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. Phillip served as a past member of the Lewiston Lions, IES (Illuminating Engineering Society), IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers), AIPE (American Institute of Plant Engineers), AFE (Association for Facilities Engineering, he was LC certified from the NCQLP, he was recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a Green Lights Ally, and he completed the 2000 Broadway Lighting Master Classes. Phillip loved traveling and meeting people, fishing and his grandchildren. Phillip was a diehard Lions and Red Wings fan regardless of their season and predicted that this year the Lions were going to go all the way. Phillip is and will be deeply missed.
He is remembered by his wife, Christine St. George; children, MaryBeth (Chuck) Felton; Daniel (Michelle) St. George; Phillip (Sheila) St. George II; David (Megan) Noonan; Michael (Jennifer) Noonan; grandchildren, Joshua, Adrianna, Heather, Brendan, Mason, Kevin, Grace, Kiera, Ryan, and Amelia; great-granddaughters, Avery and Dixie; sister, Cheryl (Edward) Fogle; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Ann St. George.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Phillip privately at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Phillip to Friends of the Lewiston Library, 2851 Kneeland St, Lewiston, Michigan 49756.
