Peter Finetti

Peter Finetti Mr. Peter Finetti, 77 of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly on June 24, 2015 at his home. He was born in Sugarnotch, Pennsylvania to the late, Giulio and Alida Finetti on December 29, 1937. He married wife, Deanna (Manzagol) Finetti in Detroit on November 1, 1958 and together they celebrated 56 years of marriage before his passing. The couple lived in Lewiston for the last 25 years, formerly of Garden City, and spent their winters in Spring Hill, Florida. Peter retired as a master carpenter from Ford Motor Company after 32 years, retiring in 1994. In his retirement he worked for Garland as a course ranger and starter for 22 years. He was a member of the Lewiston Moose Lodge and past member of the Lola Valley Masonic Lodge. He loved to cook, golf, fish, and hunt; especially deer. His deer camp was in Mio. He enjoyed Christmas with his family and making Cappeletti's (Italian meal) which he believed if you did not help in making it, you did not eat it. He was a great dad and a wonderful grandfather and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Deanna Finetti of Lewiston; son, James Peter (Toni) Finetti of Brighton; daughters, Carolyn (Michael) Wright of Canton; Lisa (Michael) Hahn of Brighton; grandchildren, Thomas, Courtney, Nicklaus, and Collin; and sister, Lydia (Bud) Voss of Luzerne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Giulio and Alida Finetti; and brother, Michael. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mr. Finetti at this time.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deanna Finetti of Lewiston; son, James Peter (Toni) Finetti of Brighton; daughters, Carolyn (Michael) Wright of Canton; Lisa (Michael) Hahn of Brighton; grandchildren, Thomas, Courtney, Nicklaus, and Collin; and sister, Lydia (Bud) Voss of Luzerne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Giulio and Alida Finetti; and brother, Michael.
As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Mr. Finetti at this time.
