Penny Robinson

Penny Grace Robinson Mrs. Penny Grace Robinson, 64 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully on September 27, 2017 at her home. She was born in Rhodes, Michigan to the late, George and Bernice (Rabidaeu) McPherson on April 1, 1953. She married her husband, Eugene "Sonny" Robinson in Bay City on February 11, 1977 and together the couple celebrated 29 years of marriage before Sonny's passing in 2006. Originally from Bay City, Penny has resided in Atlanta for the last 60 years. She attended the Vanderbilt Community Church and spent some time working at Union Pro Manufacturing. She also worked at S.E. Johnson's in Bay City and Granny's Kitchen in Vanderbilt. Penny enjoyed knitting, playing the video game Peggle on XBox, euchre, and time spent with her grandchildren and family. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by children, Sherry (Chuck Coultes) Robinson of Vanderbilt; Brian (Denise) Robinson of Fife Lake; Annie (Bob) Rogers of Gaylord; Hope Robinson of Kingsley; Robbie Robinson of Fife Lake; Eugene (Jill) Robinson Jr of Grayling; William Robinson of Gaylord; Travis (Christina) Robinson of Atlanta; 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Faye Munsch; George McPherson; Mickey McPherson; Kaneen; numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Bernice McPherson; husband, Eugene "Sonny" Robinson; and siblings, Esther; Louie; Clay; and Cliff. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Robinson family to help with final expenses.
