Patrick Joseph LaValle Patrick Joseph LaValle, 87, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2009. He was born on March 19, 1922 to Guiseppe and Margarite (Vincoli) LaValle in Detroit, MI. He married the former Wilma Renz on July 28, 1952 in Ohio. Pat served his country during WWII in the US Navy. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1974 with 32 yrs of service. He was a member the Congregation of the United Church of Christ Church and of the American Legion Post 198 in Lewiston, MI, and a life member of the Moose Lodge in Milan, MI. He enjoyed playing cards, shooting pool, and gardening. Patrick is survived by his wife, Wilma; son, Gary (Leslie ) Mayher of Milan, MI; daughters, Tammy (Richard) Ashley of Lewiston, MI, and Linda (Duane) Young of Florida; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Smith; sisters, Francis, Margaret, and Vincetta; and a brother, Joseph. Prayer service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 6:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI, Pastor Toby Stadden officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to the Congregation of the United Church of Christ in Lewiston, or the Lewiston American Legion Post 198.
