Nellie Worsley Nellie Worsley, 88, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on August 29, 2008 at Englehart's Care Home in Atlanta. She was born on December 22, 1919 to Jonas and Aino (Toivonen) Pynnonen in Grayling, MI. She married Laurence Worsley in 1946 in Alpena, MI. Nellie lived all of her life in the Lewiston area. She attended the Lewiston United Congregational Church. She was a member of the Lewiston Lioness, Easter Star of Atlanta (a past worthy matron there), and the Lewiston Historical Society. She was an avid bowler and reader. She was big into gardening. Over the years she worked in real estate sales for Hasse, Statewide, and Timbertown Real Estate. Nellie is survived by her daughter, Julie (Dennis) McClure of Lewiston, MI; son Gary (Nancy) Worsley of Lewiston, MI; granddaughter, Jenna McClure of East Lansing, MI; brothers, Simo Pynnonen of Port Huron, MI, Donald Pynnonen of Bloomfield Hills, MI, and Ole (Betty) Pynnonen of Aspen, CO; and a sister Irene Sanger of Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Laurence in 1984. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place at a later dater. The family has suggested memorials to the Lewiston Historical Society or to the Lewiston Lioness.
