Nancy Elizabeth Jimkoski Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Jimkoski, 72, of Atlanta, Michigan went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 21, 2014. She was born on November 15, 1941 to the late, Irving and Elizabeth (Coleman) Maloney in Pontiac, Michigan. On April 23, 1960 she married George Jimkoski at St. Benedicts Catholic Church in Pontiac and together they celebrated the last 54 years together. Nancy has lived in Atlanta since 1973. She was the secretary and owner with her husband of the "Atlanta Mini Storage" and "Roll On Modular Inc." She and her husband donated the property and helped to organize the Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Atlanta. She was also a member of the Ladies CCW, president of the Ladies Auxiliary, taught catechism, and was devoted to serving God. She had many hobbies that she enjoyed to do whether it was crafting, painting and knitting, or being outdoors. She liked hunting for deer, fishing, camping, and winters spent in Texas. She could also be found dancing, swimming in the creek, and taking trips to the casino. Above everything, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed. Nancy is survived by her loving husband, George Jimkoski of Atlanta; daughters, Debra (Brian) Lamberton of Midland, Dawn (Robert) Carroll of Williston, North Dakota, Deanna (Bruce) Mcnett of Bangor; son, David (Lauri) Jimkoski of Atlanta; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Dan Maloney of Clarkston; and sister, Monica (Steve) Rosina. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Jimkoski; parents, Irving and Elizabeth Maloney; and sister, Margaret Rizzuto. Funeral services for Mrs. Jimkoski will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church; Atlanta, Michigan; Father Rolando Silva officiating. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Green Funeral Home; Atlanta, Michigan from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church from 9 a.m. until time of service. Internment will follow services at Briley Township Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
