Nancy Haeger

Mrs. Nancy Haeger, 73 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at MidMichigan Medical Center of Alpena on January 7, 2021. She was born on August 15, 1947 to the late, Orin and Annie (Horton) Hibner in Alpena, Michigan. Nancy grew up in Lachine and graduated from Alpena High School. On October 12, 1968 she married her husband, Raymond Haeger and the couple made their home in Hillman. Nancy worked as a cook for MediLodge of Hillman for 15 years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed volunteering for the community, gardening, bird watching, and picking blueberries and mushrooms. She will be missed.

Nancy is survived by her children, Nanette (Eugene) Ruddy of Alpena; Raymond Haeger of Alpena; Robert (Darlene) Haeger of Hillman; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister, Sally McIntire; and brother, Jack (Cher) Hibner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orin and Annie Hibner; husband, Raymond; and brothers, Hughie and Orin Hibner.

Funeral services for Mrs. Haeger will take place at 1:00 PM on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Green Funeral Home, Hillman. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM until time of service.
