Mrs. Nancy Eileen Beliger, 79 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City on February 26, 2020. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on February 29, 1940 to the late, Joseph and Nellie (Rohrbaugh) Koorsen. She married her husband, Norman Beliger on November 2, 1968 in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan and together the couple celebrated 51 years of marriage before her passing. Formerly of Westland, the couple has resided in Lewiston for almost 20 years. Nancy worked as an Air Freight Specialist in Romulus for Emery Air Freight for 25 years. She was an avid quilter and a member of the Atlanta Quilt Guild and her hoosier club with quilting friends in Indiana. She was a past member of the Lewiston Mushroom Club. She enjoyed working with stained glass, her Siamese cats, Jinx and Merlin, and time spent with family. She will be dearly missed.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Norman Beliger of Lewiston; daughters, Tawn (Gerry) Herman-Beliger of South Lyon; Elizabeth (Scott) Novak of Westland; son, Mike (Nancy) Beliger of Farmington Hills; and grandchildren, Amanda, Ariel, Jaden, and Mikala. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Nellie Koorsen.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Nancy privately at this time.
