Melvin Ostrander

Melvin Lloyd Ostrander Mr. Melvin Lloyd Ostrander, 68 of Atlanta, Michigan died peacefully on March 10, 2017 at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alpena. He was born in Port Huron, Michigan on July 30, 1948 to the late Lloyd and Emily (Warren) Ostrander. Melvin lived in Atlanta since 2003, formerly of Port Huron. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies from building model cars to spending time outdoors fishing and camping. Above everything, he enjoyed his time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by children, Cathy (Patrick) O'Dell of Hillman; Cindy (Carlos) Portiello of Atlanta; Patricia (Marcos) Armendariz-Manariquez of Pontiac; Melvin Ostrander Jr of Atlanta; Beth Webb of Lexington; numerous grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Emily Ostrander; wife, Viola; daughter, Julie; granddaughter, Aileen; and great-grandchild, Dulice.

Cremation has taken place and there are currently no services scheduled for Mr. Ostrander.
