Melbert Glen Renodin Melbert Glen Renodin, 82, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on July 28, 2009 at Tendercare Nursing Home in Gaylord. He was born on August 30, 1926 to Glen and Lucy (Fisher) Renodin in Nankin Twp, MI. He has lived in Lewiston since 1980, but had been in the Montmorency County area since 1972. He retired from the City of Wayne Department of Public Works after 15 yrs of service. He was a member of the Atlanta Eagles 4077 and the Lewiston Moose. He used to hunt and fish. He enjoyed to play pool and golf, and loved to socialize. He was a jack of all trades, self taught master of everything. Mel is survived by his wife, Vivian of Lewiston; sons, Jerry "Tarzan" (Jane) Gehringer of Atlanta, Larry (Melanie) Gehringer of Gaylord, MI, Gary (Rebecca) Gehringer of Gaylord, and Bill (Karen) Gehringer of Traverse City, MI; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, Mike (Joan) Renodin of Gaylord, Donny (Grace) Renodin of Midland, MI, and Bobby of Elkhart, IN; and sisters, Shirley (Merle) Summerland of Johannesburg, MI, Lucille "Chinx" Renodin of Edwardsburg, MI; and Janet Banks of Atlanta. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Lucy; son, Dennis; and brothers, Carlen, Claire, Tiny, Neil, Garry, and Eugene. As were his wishes, Mr Renodin has been cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
