Maureen Licht

Mrs. Maureen Ann Licht, 64 of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly on January 7, 2023, at her home. She was born in Gaylord, Michigan on April 25, 1958 to the late, Junior and Clara (Boris) Brilley. On June 3, 1978, she married her husband, Roger Licht, and together the couple celebrated 44 years of marriage and raised four children together before her passing. The couple has resided in Lewiston for the last 43 years where Maureen worked mainly as a housewife caring for the children and Roger. She was an amazing cook and baker, especially when she made cookies. She enjoyed gardening, working on puzzles, and most importantly, spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is and will be deeply missed.

Maureen is survived by her loving husband, Roger Licht of Lewiston; children, Rachael (Doug) Hobey of Traverse City; Stuart (Amy) Licht of Birmingham, Alabama; Brandon Licht of Lewiston; Roger Licht of Gaylord; grandchildren, Ethan, Avery, Charlie, Joey, Levi, Trinity, Lillyana, Riley, Owen, and Avalon; and brother, Fred Sonnenberg of Wolverine. She was preceded in death by her parents, Junior and Clara Brilley; and sister, Sue Ferguson.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Maureen privately at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
