Mrs. Mary Josephine Jaworski, 102 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at MediLodge of Shoreline in Sterling Heights, Michigan on March 23, 2019. She was born in Hamtramck, Michigan on February 2, 1917 to the late, Anthony and Alexandra (Sendacki) Paluba. She was very devoted to her husband, Theodore Jaworski whom she married in Houghton, Michigan on August 25, 1966 and together the couple celebrated 42 years of marriage before Theodore's passing in 2008. Formerly of Washington, she has resided in Lewiston for 29 years. Mary worked as a sewing machine operator for 18 years making upholstery for cars for Ford Motor Company. She attended the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church was a past member of the Garden Club in Lewiston. She loved to garden and enjoyed trips to the casino with family and friends. Mary will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children, Thomas (Mary) Hrynik of Troy; Lorraine (Richard) Kinney of China, Michigan; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Alexandra Paluba; husband, Theodore; and sisters, Stephanie Iwiach and Jenny Ciack.
As were her wishes cremation has taken place and the family has chosen to remember Mary privately at this time.
