Mary Alice Faircloth Mrs. Mary Alice Faircloth, 73 of Atlanta, Michigan died on March 23, 2015 at Alpena Regional Medical Center. She was born to the late, Houghton and Alice (Ranney) Stebbins on March 7, 1942 in Millington, Michigan. She married husband, Vernon Faircloth in Flint on November 1, 1969 and together they celebrated 45 years of marriage before her passing. The couple moved to the Atlanta area in 1980, formerly from Flint. Mary was a member of the Beaver Lake Community Church and was very active, teaching "Daisies" classes there. She loved to cook and made various breads, cakes, and cookies; and was also known for making fudge. She liked to watch Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and other game shows. Mary's favorite color was purple and she loved to shop. Above all of these hobbies, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends and will be dearly be missed by each of them. She is survived by her loving husband, Vernon Faircloth of Atlanta; sons, Craig Stevens of Onaway; Kenneth Bristol of Atlanta; Curtis (Danyell) Bristol of Mt. Carroll, Illinois; Clifford (Andrea) Faircloth of Onaway; Vernon (Geraldine) Faircloth of Atlanta; daughter, Kimberly (Gene) Jacobson of Cartersville, Georgia; numerous grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; brother, Howard Stebbins of Flint; sister, Deborah Gilbert of Flint; and stepbrother, Robert (Kay) Young of Flushing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Houghton and Alice Stebbins; daughter, Carla Byars; sisters, Beverly Stevens; and brother, Edward Stebbins. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there was a memorial held in celebration of her life on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2:00 PM the Beaver Lake Community Church.
