Mary Elizabeth Cahoon Mary Elizabeth Cahoon, 93, of Lewiston, passed away passed away August 22, 2008 at Engleharts Care Home in Atlanta. She was born on March 10, 1915 to Roy and Esther (Dougherty) O'Neil in Alpena County. She married Clarence "Bud" Cahoon on December 22, 1935 in Gaylord, MI. Mary taught school in Oscoda County. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lewiston. She was a past member of the Lewiston Lioness and the Lewiston Extension with Michigan State University. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid gardener. Above all else she loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary is survived by her daughters, Mary Mae "Pat" (Larry) Beauregard of Lewiston, MMI, and Beverly (Bob) Paul of Atlanta, MI; grandchildren, Stuart (Margaret) Beauregard of Prudenville, MI, John (Debra) Beauregard of Troy, MI, and Michael (Missy) Paul of Atlanta, MI; great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Danielle, Jacqueline, Johnny, Jeremy, and Tanner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud, and a sister, Irene. Funeral services for Mrs Cahoon will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI, Pastor Robert Butler officiating. Interment will take place at the Albert Twp Cemetery, Lewiston. Visitation hours will be held on Monday from 6-9 PM at the funeral home.
