Mr. Mark Odell Smith, 61 of Atlanta, Michigan died suddenly on July 23, 2023 at his home. He was born on May 15, 1962 the son of Carl and Myrtle (Oller) Smith in Flint, Michigan. Mark had always owned property in Atlanta but had lived here permanently for the last 20+ years. He was a mechanic and a welder and enjoyed helping friends with projects that required his skills. He loved to work in his garage and enjoyed going hunting. He is and will be deeply missed.

Mark is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Irving) Bradford of Lake City, Rebecca (Garret) Detterer of Wyoming, Holly (Eric) Grace of Manton; five grandchildren; siblings, Terry (Dawn) Smith, Dale Smith, and Danny Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Myrtle Smith; wife, Janet; and brother, Mike.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Mark privately at this time.
