Marjorie Jeanne Clement Marjorie Jeanne Clement, 86, of Atlanta, MI, passed away on March 14, 2011 at Medilodge in Hillman. She was born on October 29, 1924 to Harry and Alice (Barker) Sullivan in Bay City, MI. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Atlanta. She was active in helping to build the church from the planning, fundraising, and eventually the building of the church itself. She started working as a draft board clerk, and then moved on to be the secretary for Atty. Joe Mills before following him to the prosecutors office. Following her work from there she went on to become the Montmorency County Clerk where she served for many years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Atlanta. She enjoyed to sing, dance, and play the piano; and also liked to knit socks and mittens. Above all else Jeanne loved raising her family. Jeanne is survived by her sons, Joe (Beverly) of Kenton, OH, Dennis (Karen) of Farmington Hills, MI, David of Apopka, FL, Keith (Debbie) of Clarkston, MI, and Billy (Joyce Little) of Lewiston, MI; daughters, Jeannine Skonieczny of Richmond, MI, Moe (Bird) Smith of Lewiston, MI, and Colleen Clement of Lewiston, MI; 12grandchidlren; 4 great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Sanderson of Pontiac, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; son, Andy; brothers, Don, Bud, Roy, and Bob; and sisters, Helen and Dutchie. Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Clement will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011, at 3:00 PM at the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Lewiston, MI, Father Raymond Cotter officiating. Interment will take place at Briley Twp Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI, and again on Friday from 2:00 PM until time of service at the church.
