Marie P. Watkins Marie P. Watkins, 94, of Hillman, passed away on March 16, 2008 at Medilodge Nursing Home in Hillman, MI. She was born on September 29, 1913 to Joe and Mary Dullack. She married George Watkins in 1935 in Hillman, MI. Marie spent most of her life in the Hillman area. She graduated from County Normal and ended up teaching school in Hillman. She attended St Augustine Catholic Church. She loved collecting recipes and spoons. She enjoyed fishing, traveling with family, and square dancing with her husband. Marie is survived by her son, Pat Watkins of Hillman, MI; grandson, who she raised, Randy (Sherry Lowery) Watkins of Clio, MI; 7 other grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a sister in law, Muriel Watkins of Hillman, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband George; son Gary Watkins; and a grandson Gary Watkins Jr. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home, Hilman, MI.
