Marian Catherine Ziolkowski Marian Catherine Ziolkowski, 81, of Atlanta, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at Engleharts Care Home in Atlanta. She was born on November 6, 1927 to Lloyd and Kathryn (Pfluger) Pelton in Flat Rock, MI. She married Henry Ziolkowski on Septermber 24, 1949. Mary had lived in Atlanta since 1976 formerly of Washington, MI. She was active in the the Montmorency DAV and the Atlanta VFW, and was also a member of the UAW. She loved to be outdoors, especially gardening, fishing, and camping. She enjoyed doing puzzles and liked her candy, especially chocolate covered liquid filled cherries. She enjoyed to watch Clint Eastwood movies and nature shows on TV. Marian is survived by her son, Martin of Port Huron, MI; daughters, Nancy Eisenhardt of Traverse City, MI, Audrey (Ken) Obrest of Memphis, MI, Patty (Tony) Augugliaro of Washington, MI, Cathy (Dale) Hudson of Atlanta, MI, Jacqie Ziolkowski of Lewiston, MI, and Laura Brancheau of Johannesburg, MI; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Priscilla (Jack) Reiser of Carlton, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; sons, Dennis, Robert, and David; grandson, Dominick Famiano; and a sister Anna Leona Zurlinski. Funeral services for Mrs Ziolkowski will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Atlanta, MI, Pastor Roger Steele officiating. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-9 PM at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Briley Twp Cemetery. The family has suggested memorial to Hospice of MI, Gaylord or to the Atlanta VFW.
