Margaret Parkhill Ogilvy Mrs. Margaret Parkhill Ogilvy, 87 of Lewiston passed away at her home on July 7, 2012. She was born to Thomas and Jeannie (McNab) Houston on May 23, 1925 in Glasgow, Scotland. She married her late husband, James Ogilvy on July 26, 1946 at the church of Scotland in Glasgow. Margaret has lived in Lewiston for the past five years, formally of Springfield, Illinois. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Swartz Creek and was an avid BINGO player. She also enjoyed trips to the casino as well as old western movies. Above everything, she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends and will be missed dearly. She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Danny) Burtch of Lewiston; son, Tom (Beth) Ogilvy of Springfield, IL; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and sister, Helen Gilroy of Chesaning. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Jeannie; husband, James Ogilvy; and sister, Betty Fraiser. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial held in celebration of her life at the Lewiston VFW Post 6335 on Saturday, July 28 2012 at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be sent to Hospice of MI, Lewiston VFW Post 6335, or a local VFW Post of the donor's choice.
