Malinda Mae Pyle Mrs. Malinda Mae Pyle, 69 of Hillman, Michigan died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on April 22, 2018. She was born on March 22, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to the late, Kenneth and Josephine (White) Patton. On October 3, 1980 in Pontiac, Michigan she married, Melvin Pyle and together the couple celebrated 37 years of marriage before her passing. Formerly of Metamora, the couple has resided in Hillman for the last 22 years. Malinda was a member of the Hillman First Baptist church and went on a missionary trip to Alabama. She volunteered at the gristmill in Hillman and owned and operated a ceramic shop for ten years. She loved to craft whether it be ceramics, jewelry, or stained glass she tried a little bit of everything. She loved to shop and had collections of dolls, Indians, and Coca-Cola items. Above everything she enjoyed her time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Melvin Pyle of Hillman; sons, Michael Yarbrough of Lapeer; James Pyle of Alpena; daughters, Stacey Helfer of Detroit; Tammy (Keith) Justice of Davison; Christie (Rod) Lassen of Warren; stepson, Russell Pyle of Lachine; stepdaughters, Doreen Pyle of Lachine; Cressie (Jim) Woodbury of Twining; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Howard of Warren; Darlene (Dan) Hickerson of Cadillac; and Joyce Dubuque of Warren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Josephine Patton; and great-grandson, Noah Joslyn. Funeral services for Mrs. Pyle will take place at 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Green Funeral Home; Hillman, Pastor James Killion officiating. Visitation will take place from 1:00PM until time of service.
