Louise Helen May Louise Helen May, 91, of Lewiston, MI passed away on November 24, 2010 at Mercy Manor in Grayling, MI. She was born on May 18, 1919 in Grayling, MI, to Vern and Hazel (Pasineau) Bennett. She married Herman May on April 18, 1939. She was raised in the Grayling and Lewiston area, then moved to Warren, MI, permanently returning to Lewiston in 1971. She worked for Warren Consolidated Schools for 12 yrs as a bus driver. She was a member of the Warren VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed music and dancing. Above all else, she loved raising her family as they were a great source of pride and love for her. She always enjoyed her time spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was not one to judge, but quick to encourage. Louise is survived by her sons, Gary "Butch" (Nancy) of Port Huron, MI; Ted of Lewiston, MI; Merle "Mo" (Kris) of Clinton Twp, MI, and Rick (Sandy) of Gaylord, MI; daughters, Doris (Gordon) Yarbrough of Thorndale, TX, Kaye (Richard) Rozewicz of Lapeer, MI, Bonnie (Mike) Krystopowicz of Warren, MI, and Deborah Miracle of Farmington Hills, MI; 21 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman; grandson, Gordon Yarbrough; brother, Merle Bennett; and sister, Marion Stafford. Funeral services for Mrs. May will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2010, at 4:00 PM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, Pastor Toby Stadden officiating. Visitation hours will be held from 1:00 until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at the Fairview Cemetery in Gaylord.
