Lois (Klein) (Danks) Weborg Lois (Klein) (Danks) Weborg, went peacefully to be with her creator on February 13, 2011.Lois was born August 7, 1929 to Howard and Neva (Graves) Klein in Loud Township, MI. where she lived most of her life. She married John (Bert) Danks in June of 1947 and had three children: Barry, Robin and Julie. For 25 years they lived and worked at Lockwood Lake Ranch. During that same time they owned and operated the Gilchrist Grocery. She loved to read, play cards, hunt, and fish. She was an active outdoorswoman all her life. She enjoyed picking morel mushrooms and making maple syrup in the spring. She also spent many days in the woods of Michigan, Ontario and Manitoba on many hunting and fishing trips. In June of 1974 she married Bjorn (Bob) Weborg and moved to New Hudson, MI. During that time she sold real estate and worked as a tax preparer for H&R Block. When Lois and Bob retired they moved back home to Loud Township. Lois was a 50 year honored member of the Order of Eastern Stars. She was a long time active member and treasurer of the Fraternal Order of Eagles AERIE 3544 Ladies Aux., Comins MI. She was also a member of Moose Lodge 1035 of Mio, MI; VFW Post 9489 Ladies Aux., Atlanta, MI; Elk Country Gobblers Chapter of the National Turkey Federation; and a member of the Atlanta Congregational Church. Lois is survived and missed by her loving family, Daughter, Julie Gow (Jessie Weihl) of Atlanta; Sons Barry (Connie) Danks of Atlanta; Robin (Jane) Danks of Clay Township, M; Step Daughter Melinda Beaudry of Marquette; 6 Grandchildren, 11 Great grandchildren, Brothers: Ralph (Bud) (Geraldine) Klein of Atlanta, Virgil (Ellen) Klein of Lewiston, Lyle (Gladys) Klein of Atlanta; Sister Doris Klein of Mio; and many Nieces and Nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her parents: Howard and Neva (Graves) Klein and husbands: Bert Danks and Bob Weborg. Funeral services for Mrs. Weborg will be held on February 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI, Pastor Jinny Titus officiating. Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, from 4-8 PM at the funeral home, and again Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service. Interment will take place in the spring at St John's Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home.
