Mrs. Lillian Agnes Gudding, 92 of Shelby Township and Hillman, Michigan died peacefully on December 30, 2020 at Clinton Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care in Clinton Township. She was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her husband of 65 years, Hans. She was born on September 25, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to the late, Floyd and Meta (Holtz) Zanley. Lillian resided in Shelby Township during the winter months and spent her summers at her home on Long Lake in Hillman. She was a member of the Hillman Methodist Church and a past member of the Thunder Bay Quilters Guild. Lillian owned a ceramic store in the past in Shelby Township for five years. She loved anything with crafts. She enjoyed oil painting, sewing, and quilting. Most importantly, she valued time with family and will be dearly missed.
Lillian is survived by her children, Hans (Colleen) Gudding II of Macomb Township; Karl Gudding of Shelby Township; Linda (Bill) Hoffner of Hillman; Karol (Bob) Griffith of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Vera Osgood of Clinton Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Meta Zanley; husband, Hans Raymond Gudding; and brother, Floyd Zanley.
A graveside service will take place at Hillman Rust Township Cemetery in the Spring where Lillian will be laid to rest.
