Leroyce Whitman Jr.

Mr. LeRoyce Douglas Whitman Jr, 82 of Johannesburg, Michigan died peacefully at McReynolds Hall in Gaylord on March 1, 2020. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 28, 1937 to the late, LeRoyce and Catherine (Bush) Whitman. He has resided in Johannesburg for the last 28 years, formerly of Roseville. Lee was last employed at Woodward Glass where he worked as a glazier. He dabbled in construction while living up north as well. He was a member  of the Gaylord Eagles and the Lewiston Moose Club. He also was a member of the Red Wings Motorcycle Club and ABATE and enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycles over the years. He loved the outdoors and socializing with friends. He will be dearly missed.

Lee is survived by his wife, Betty of Johannesburg; daughter, Lisa (Robert Lowery) Whitman of Harrison Township; sons, Doug (Teresa) Whitman of Johannesburg; John Whitman of Chesterfield; five grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember LeRoyce privately at this time.
