Leigh Ann Hathaway

Mrs. Leigh Ann “Lanny” Hathaway, 84 of Lewiston, Michigan passed away on September 10, 2024 at her home. She was welcomed into Heaven with outstretched arms by her late husband, Billy. Lanny was born in Howell, Michigan on July 9, 1940 to Arthur and Mary Beth (Phillips) Damon. She married Billy Hathaway on September 20, 1958 and together they celebrated 63 years of marriage before Billy’s passing in 2022. Lanny was a member of the Mushroom Club as well as the 50+ Club in Lewiston. In the past, she enjoyed playing Euchre at the American Legion with Billy. She also enjoyed both reading and knitting. She is and will be deeply missed.

 Lanny is remembered by her daughters, Susan (Greg) Zuck of Brighton; Marsha (Kim) Price of Pinckney; grandchildren, Brian (Kristina), Becci (Steve), Marco, Austin (Savanna); great-grandchildren, Olivia, Lily, Calvin, J.R., Waylon; and brother, Richard (Susie) Damon of Howell. She was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Mary Beth Damon; husband, Billy; sister, Barbara Griffin; and brother, James Damon.

 In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will gather for coffee and cake to celebrate Lanny’s life from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the 50+ Club in Lewiston.
