Laurel Patrice Bauman Ms. Laurel Patrice Bauman, 55, of Atlanta, MI passed away on July 23, 2013 at her residence. She was born on December 16, 1957 to Lyle and Joan (Lamier) Smith in Glennallen, Alaska. She has lived in Atlanta since 2011 formerly of North Branch, MI. She had a passion for horses, having ridden them and worked as a trainer for many years. She also drove truck for Robert Trucking for a few years as well. She enjoyed to crochet. She loved all animals and was always rescuing something. Laurel is survived by her sons, Nathan (Suzanne) Diller of Mayville, MI, and Blane (Carissa) Diller of Capac, MI; daughters, Amanda (Jason Brady) Diller of North Branch, MI, and Karalee Diller of Henderson, KY; grandchildren, Alexcia, Stephon, Austin, Devon, and Jayden; mother, Joan (George) Lemaster of Fosoria, MI; father, Lyle (Jackie) Smith of Port Angeles, WA; the father of her children, Erwin Diller of Atlanta, MI; mother in law, Eleanor Diller of Atlanta, MI; brothers, Michael (Elizabeth) Lemaster of North Branch, MI, Tim (Tracy) Lemaster of Chicago, IL, Jeff (Tracy) Lemaster of Saline, KS, Rick (Donna) Smith of Lapeer, MI, and George Lemaster of Saline, KS; sisters, Lorrie (Doc) Willett of North Glen, CO, Merry (Gary) Yakes of North Branch, MI, Gina Lemaster of Imlay City, MI, Rhonda Lemaster of Florida, Heather Carter of Burton, MI, and Melissa Lemaster of Fostoria, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. As were her wishes cremation has taken place and there willl be a memorial service held for Ms Bauman at the Blackburn Chapel of the Martin Funeral Home on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Local arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
