Larry Joseph Roux Larry Joseph Roux, 58, of Lewiston, passed away on January 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 23, 1958 to Ernest and Margaret (Hurley) Roux in Detroit, MI. He has lived in Lewiston for the past 32 years, formerly of Detroit. He owned and operated Triple L Insulation in Gaylord for 13 years, and then worked as a mechanic for 10 more years, after that he worked as a handy man. He was a member of the Fun Country Cruisers and the FFRA snowmobile drag racing association. He loved to drag race anything that had a motor. He enjoyed time spent volunteering at the Caring Place, while working there he fixed up over 30 bikes for children in the area that didn't have one of their own. He was a big NASCAR fan, his favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt SR, then Dale Jr. Larry loved to fish. Larry is survived by his companion, Sharry Goheen of Lewiston; son, Chad (Tammy Jones) Roux of Gaylord; daughters, Holly (Ronald) Spragg of Lewiston, Ronda Borsos of Ohio, Vanise (Keith) Wilber of Oregon and Cherry Jo Adams of Indiana; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Gary (Sue) Roux of Alger, MI, and Tim (Laurie) Roux of North Carolina; sisters, Marcella Vedder and Tina Rumph of Lewiston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Margaret. As were his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial service for Mr. Roux on January 21, 2017 at the Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, MI at 11:00 AM, Pastor Jerry Robertson officiating.
