Kyle David Wilson Kyle David Wilson, 86, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on May 13, 2013 at McClaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. He was born on January 11, 1927 to Carl and Florence (Newman) Wilson in Hancock, MI. Kyle married the former Clara Mitchell on December 29, 1956 in Detroit, MI. He served his country during WWII in the US Navy. He retired from US Plywood in the early 90's. He was a member of the Lewiston Curling Club. Kyle enjoyed woodworking, collecting coins, playing poker, and baking, sweets especially. He was an avid gardener, there wasn't a plant or flower he couldn't grow. Above all else, he loved time spent with his family. Kyle is survived by his sons, Kyle David (Renee) of Lake Orion, MI, and Brian (Donna) of Troy, MI; daughters, Bonnie (Bob) Turppa of Lewiston, MI, and Debra (Doug) Hyde of Gaylord, MI; 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara, and a sister, Nancy McNulty. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held graveside on June 22, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Albert Twp Cemetery in Lewiston, MI, with a luncheon to follow at the Lewiston 50+ Club.
