Kyle Alan Schmidt

Kyle Alan Schmidt, 36 of Lewiston MI Passed away at his home on September 4, 2024. Son of Greg and Charlene (Daniels) Schmidt. Kyle was born on Aug. 1, 1988, in Bay City, MI. Kyle served in the United States Army Reserves from 2006-2009. Kyle was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed being out in mother nature with all she had to offer. Kyle enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially fishing with his kids. Kyle enjoyed going kayaking, camping, and sitting by the bonfire, especially bonfires at the cabin and playing cards. He loved music. His favorite bands were Tool, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, and Johnny Cash. He enjoyed panning for gold with his brother and brother-in-law and smoking a doobie with his brother Shane. Kyle loved driving anything fast, especially his Trans Am. Kyle loved getting a good deal on anything he could and tinkering around with things. Kyle would lend a hand to anyone in need regardless of the job. No matter what Kyle was always down for a good time. Most of all, Kyle loved spending time with his kids, dog, and family and friends.

Kyle was welcomed into his spirit life with open arms by his grandparents; Charlie and Arlene Daniels, Jim and Jerry Schmidt, his special dog Dayton, a few uncles, aunts, and cousins.Kyle is survived by his children, Brayden, Ariana, Allie, and Garret; girlfriend, Jess; parents, Greg and Charlene; siblings, Shane, Mike (Holly) and Vicki (Scott), nieces and nephews, Brittany (John) Justin (Heather) Christina (Tom) Brittany (Jake) and Jacob; as well as his great-nephews, Alex, Axel, Aiden, Mason, and Jasper.

A memorial service will be held for Kyle from 1:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the First Baptist Church, Lewiston. A celebration of life party will be held after services at 2379 Big Antler Road, Lewiston. If you have a favorite band please wear their shirt in memory of Kyle.
