Kenneth Edward Watson Mr Kenneth Edward Watson, 81, of Hillman, MI, passed away on May 21, 2011 at Medilodge of Hillman. He was born on January 9, 1930 in Mancelona, MI, to Calvin and Erma (Dean) Watson. He served his country in the US Army. Ken married the former Shirley Miller on February 21, 1950 in Angola, IN. He has lived in Hillman for 26 years, formerly of Flint, MI. He retired from GM Truck and Bus in Flint after 35+ years of service. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Lachine. Ken enjoyed picking berries and mushrooms, and was an avid woodworker, making many things for family, friends, and his church. He loved to camp with his family as they grew up, especially in the Kalkaska area. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Shirley of Hillman, MI; sons, Ken (Debbie) of Colorado, Gary (Rita) of Kansas, and Rodger (Pam) of Owosso, MI; daughters, Carol (Randy) Hunt of Hillman, MI, and Diane Gregson of Flint, MI; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved him dearly; seven brothers; and two sisters. Funeral services for Mr Watson will be held on May 25, 2011 at the Green Funeral Home, Hillman, MI, Pastor Larry Kirby officiating. Interment will take place at Hillman-Rust Twp Cemetery. Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM, and again on Wednesday from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
