Mr. Keith Duncan Curtis, 85 of Grayling, Michigan died peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Kings Nursing Center on January 28, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer. He was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by his late wife, Karen and son, Kelly. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on October 1, 1937 to the late, Leonard and Margaret (Johnstone) Curtis. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He married his wife, Karen (Hall) Curtis on May 7, 1960 and together the couple celebrated 54 years of marriage before her passing in September of 2014. Keith worked as an electrician at Standard Products in Gaylord, Michigan for ten years before working at the Local 498 IBEW where he retired at the age of 65. He enjoyed both fishing and hunting, and most importantly, spending time with his family and grandchildren. He leaves them with countless laughs and beautiful memories. He is and will be deeply missed.
Keith is survived by his children, Kevin (Jodee) Curtis of Grayling; Kimberly (Ken Cox) Murphy of Roscommon; grandchildren, Jessica, Kristopher, Kyle, Kody, Mollie, Ryan, Cassidy, and Kane; ten great-grandchildren; nephew, Jim (Anne) Curtis of Hendersonville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Margaret Curtis; wife, Karen; son, Kelly; and brothers, George and Larry Curtis.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life held in memory of Keith at a later date.
