Kathleen Bernice Charlebois Mrs. Kathleen Bernice Charlebois, 82 of Plymouth; formerly of Lady Lake, Florida, went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving children on the early morning of September 11, 2015. She was born to the late, George and Amanda (Brzozowski) Meyers in Bay City, Michigan on November 26, 1932. She has lived in Florida for the last 17 years, formerly of the Westland and Canton area. She retired as assistant vice president of the Michigan National Bank after 30+ years. Kathy had a strong passion for golfing and loved to read history and mystery books by her favorite author, James Michener. She was active in a local garden club and enjoyed the luncheons she would share with the ladies. She was a wonderful baker and cook and enjoyed frog legs, catfish, and lake perch, along with the hard candies she always had on hand. She liked to play dominoes, cards, Mahjong and Farkle. She attended the Kentucky Derby twice with her youngest daughter where they were photographed for their fancy hats that were later displayed in the paper. Family was important to her and she looked forward to the updates she would get on her grandkids. She always sent cards for every holiday and birthday with her special signature of a stick figure girl. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her children, Candy (Will) Fox of Fairview, Michigan; Kevin Young of Mio, Michigan; Julie (Ted) Hoffman of Comins, Michigan; Billy (Lori) Young of Murrieta, California; Kelly (Kevin) Fischer of Canton, Michigan; Holly (David) McGlinn of Plymouth, Michigan; Claudine Clarke of Clayton, North Carolina; sister, Linda (Dale) Crawford of Mira Masa, Arizona; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Terje (Christina) Hougen of California. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Amanda Meyers; husband, Robert; and son, Steven. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family memorial held in celebration of her life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to Angela Hospice, 14100 Newburgh Road, Livonia 48154. Arrangements were entrusted to Green Funeral Home.
