June Sherbonda

Mrs. June Clara Sherbonda, 77 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch on the early morning of April 5, 2020. She was born in Alpena, Michigan to the late, Arthur and Ida (Lintz) Ferguson on June 8, 1942. She married David Sherbonda on February 15, 1964 and later moved from Atlanta to Lewiston. June worked as a secretary for the Lewiston State Bank, First of America, National City, and PNC in Lewiston for almost 20 years. Prior to her work in banking she worked at Bud Jones Insurance Company. She was a past member of the Lewiston Lions and loved flowers, gardening, taking pictures of her family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren. June will be dearly missed.

June is survived by her son, Jim (Jen) Sherbonda of Lewiston; grandchildren, Rachel (Micah) Doyle of Lewiston; Jake Sherbonda of Atlanta; David Sherbonda; Destiny Sherbonda both of Lewiston; great-granddaughter, Anastasia Doyle; and brother, Gordon Ferguson of Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ida Ferguson; husband, David; and brother, Gerald Ferguson.

A private graveside service will take place for June at 2:00PM on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Albert Township Cemetery, Lewiston where she will be laid to rest.
