Juleann A. Bryce

Mrs. Juleann “Julie” Bryce, of Johannesburg, formerly of Bay City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of Herbert “Bud” Bryce who preceded her in death on June 1, 2009. She was born in Bay City, Michigan to the late Stephen and Jesse “Mim” (Willette) Mac Neil. Julie touched many hearts and enjoyed caring for young children in her home daycare for many years in Bay City. Her hobbies included canning, cooking, and sewing for her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Berg of Flint; Mark (Lucy) Bryce of Interlochen; Tim Bryce of Pinconning; and Kevin Bryce of Johannesburg; five grandchildren, Michelle (Joseph) Van Sicklen, Matthew (Angie) Berg, Lucy (Joseph) Kolka, Emily (Andrew) Dauster, and Sarah (Justin) Kuhns; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Lou Mac Neil of Kawkawlin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Jesse Mac Neil; husband, Herbert “Bud”, brothers, Eugene and Jack; and sister, Geraldine “Jerry” Madigan-Stevenson.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Michigan for the support provided to their family.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Lewiston; Fr. Scott Lawler officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Internment will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Floral Gardens Cemetery, Bay City where Julie will be laid to rest.

Julie will remain in our hearts and will be greatly missed.
