Judy Verone Quarfoot Mrs. Judy Verone Quarfoot, 76 of Hillman, Michigan died at her home on June 9, 2018. She was born in Grayling, Michigan on September 16, 1941 to the late, Willard and Eleanor (Little) Quarfoot. Formerly of Trenary, she has resided in Hillman for the last two years. Judy worked at Porcupine Press in Trenary and helped start the newspaper working as a typesetter, editor, publisher, and co-owner. She loved gardening, especially her flowers and enjoyed dancing. She had a love for music and rock and roll. Most importantly, she cherished time spent with family and friends and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy (Ocie) Gilbert of Lewiston; Emilie (Larry) Qualmann of Miles City, Montana; Colleen Hurren of Hillman; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; Goddaughter, Terry (Paul) Marquardt of Hillman; and best friend, Diana Fletcher-Gibbs of Hillman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Eleanor Quarfoot; and son, Mark Reichle. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a family memorial held in celebration of her life at a later date.
