January 8, 1942 — August 25, 2011

Judith Diane Sokalski Judith Diane Sokalski, 69, of Lewiston, MI, passed away on August 25, 2011 at her residence. She was born on January 8, 1942 in Warren, MI. She worked at the RSE Shop in New Baltimore for a few years, before returning to Lewiston where she worked at the Villager, baking bread and doughnuts for many years. She enjoyed working puzzles, especially jigsaws. Judy loved lighthouses, whether it was going to see them, pictures of them, or even lighthouse collectibles. In her younger years she enjoyed snowmobiling. She also loved the outdoors and fishing, although she never got to go. Judy is survived by her sons, Michael (Linda McParlan) Sokalski of Harrison Twp, MI; Steven (Stacey Cook) Sokalski of Chesterfield, MI; Chris Sokalkski of NC; Dan (Annemarie) Sokalski of Kinde, MI; nine grandchildren; and a brother Kirk Juip of Almont, MI. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services for Mrs. Sokalski planned at this time. Arrangements were entrusted to the Green Funeral Home. Condolence messages can be sent via our website, www.greenfuneralhomes.com
