Judith Green

Judith Anne Green Mrs. Judith Anne Green, 68 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at home with her loving husband at her side on April 2, 2017. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 20, 1948 the daughter of Cyril and Gloria (Delmotte) Duyck. She married her husband, Robert "Bob" Green on November 10, 1973 in Sterling Heights and together the couple celebrated 43 years of marriage before her passing. They have resided in Lewiston since 1986. Judy worked as a secretary for the federal government for 13 years and in bank customer service for 18 years. She started at the Lewiston State Bank, retiring from PNC. She worked as the Albert Township Clerk for 6 years, and served the last 8 years as township supervisor. Judy was very involved within her community and worked on the Johannesburg Lewiston School Board for 12 years, was past president for the Johannesburg Lewiston School Band Boosters, and treasurer of the Athletic Boosters. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and was on the finance council for years. Aside from helping people and her community, Judy enjoyed to be outside and loved gardening. She was also an avid reader. Her job, the school, and the community were all very near and dear to her heart, but most importantly, she loved her family and her time spent with them. Judy is survived by her loving husband, Bob Green of Lewiston; daughters, Jennifer Smith of San Tan Valley, Arizona; Jessica Rondeau of Sault St. Marie; grandchildren, Jacob, Brady, and Pierce; mother, Gloria Duyck of Sterling Heights; brothers, Michael (Roberta) Duyck of Shelby Township; Richard (Sandra) Duyck of Utica; James Duyck of Sterling Heights; sisters, Nancy Duyck of Sterling Heights; Kristine Williams of Clinton Township; Karen Duyck of Sterling Heights; Lori Duyck of Macomb Township; and Lisa (Steve) Gilbert of Clinton Township. She was preceded in death by her father, Cyril Duyck. Funeral services for Mrs. Green will take place at 11:00AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; Lewiston; Fr. Matthew Furgiuele officiating. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston, and again on Wednesday from 10:00AM until time of service at the church. Interment will follow services at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Cemetery.
